Join a contract/travel assignment in Grants, NM for an experienced perioperative RN. This OR/circulating nurse position begins ASAP, is scheduled at 40 hours per week, and pays $2,424/40-hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative or surgical nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required; CNOR or other perioperative certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
• Serve as circulating nurse during surgery: monitor patient status, assist the surgical team, and maintain a safe environment.
• Administer medications and uphold strict sterile technique and infection-control practices.
• Accurately document nursing care, surgical events, and patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education on pre- and post-operative care and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to support optimal patient outcomes.
