CVOR Surgical Technologist — Travel Contract (Glenwood Springs, CO)

Join a contract CVOR team in Glenwood Springs, CO. This travel opportunity begins ASAP and offers $2,280 per 40-hour week. Ideal candidates have perioperative experience in cardiovascular surgery and a commitment to safe, efficient operating room practice.

Requirements:

• Surgical technologist certification preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular or perioperative settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• BLS certification preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up the CVOR: prepare instruments, supplies, and the sterile environment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Support the surgical team by passing instruments, managing the sterile field, and maintaining procedural flow.
• Monitor and verify equipment functionality throughout cases.
• Assist with patient positioning and preoperative preparation.
• Maintain accurate instrument counts and document procedures as required.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia to ensure safe, efficient operations.
