Travel Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT Preferred) — York, ME — Contract/40-hr wk

We’re looking for a dependable Sterile Processing Technician to join a team in York, ME on a contract/travel basis. This is a day-shift position starting ASAP, offering $1,300 for a 40-hour week.

What you’ll do:

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to meet infection-control standards.
• Inspect and accurately assemble instrument sets for surgical procedures.
• Maintain inventory, manage storage of sterile supplies, and ensure items are ready when needed.
• Document sterilization cycles and follow policies and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with surgical and clinical teams to support safe, efficient patient care.

What we’re looking for:

• Certification in sterile processing (CSPDT or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in sterile processing, central supply, or the OR is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work well on a team.
• Familiarity with infection control principles and sterilization procedures.
