Shift: Days, 6:45 a.m.–7:15 p.m. (36-hour rate)
Rate: $2,686 / 36 hours

Requirements

  • Active RN license in Washington.
  • 2–3+ years acute care nursing; supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS required; facility-specific certifications may apply.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, leadership, crisis decision-making, and multi-priority management skills.
  • Experience with patient flow management and hospital operations preferred.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff across units during the shift.
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to manage bed availability and staffing.
  • Act as administrator-on-duty: address operational issues, staff concerns, and patient/family needs.
  • Respond to emergencies, rapid responses, and critical events; direct and support clinical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.
  • Assess staffing needs; reassign personnel to maintain safe patient ratios.
  • Support problem-solving, conflict resolution, and escalation management.
  • Document incidents, staffing decisions, and operational concerns; communicate with leadership.
  • Promote a collaborative, efficient environment for staff and patients.
