Overview
Interim Outpatient Nurse Manager responsible for daily management and clinical oversight of outpatient nursing services including oncology, infusion, and wound care. Lead a small team, maintain regulatory compliance, oversee quality and financial processes, and support outreach and administrative leadership as needed.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise outpatient nursing staff (2–3 employees); manage onboarding, orientation, and ongoing education
• Provide clinical oversight for oncology, infusion, and wound care outpatient services
• Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with state and federal outpatient care regulations
• Lead quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee patient education programs and care planning support
• Build and maintain referral relationships with internal and external providers
• Support outreach and marketing efforts for outpatient services
• Oversee prior authorization, coding, and billing processes
• Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting and monthly reporting
• Participate in administrative on-call coverage for hospital leadership
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Utah
• BSN from an accredited program
• Minimum 3 years recent RN experience
• Minimum 2 years oncology nursing experience (required)
• ONS certification (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in healthcare
• Strong proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and emotional maturity

Preferred Certifications/Experience

• Certified Wound Care Nurse
• Infusion certification
• Experience in outpatient oncology, infusion, or wound care programs
