Travel Endoscopy/GI Technician (Contract) — Glenwood Springs, CO

Schedule/Rate: 40 hours/week — $1,860/40 hours

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• BLS certification
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift/move equipment and patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of Endoscopy Technician or GI Technician training program
• Prior experience in an endoscopy/GI lab
• Knowledge of endoscope reprocessing standards (AAMI, SGNA, AORN)

Core Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during GI procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, etc.)
• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment before cases
• Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopic instruments per infection control standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and reprocessing logs
• Monitor, restock, and maintain supplies and equipment
• Transport and position patients for procedures; support nursing staff with patient care as needed
• Follow facility safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies
