Travel Surgical Technologist (OR) — State College, PA (Contract, 36-hr)

Join a surgical team in State College, PA on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This role offers $1,674 per 36-hour week and is a great fit for someone who thrives in the OR environment and enjoys working closely with surgeons and nursing staff.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, set up instruments and equipment for a variety of procedures, and keep everything organized and ready.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies efficiently during cases.
• Monitor surgical equipment during procedures and report or correct any malfunctions.
• Keep accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
• Document procedural details and communicate clearly with surgeons, nurses, and the extended perioperative team.

What we’re looking for:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is preferred.
• Previous experience in the OR or perioperative setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well on a team.
• BLS certification preferred.
