Travel RN Operating Room (OR) | State College, PA (36-hr Contract)

We’re seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a surgical team in State College, PA on a contract/travel basis. This is a Monday–Friday assignment with a 36-hour week and a pay rate of $2,052/36-hours. Start date is ASAP.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare patients, instruments, and the operating room so cases run safely and efficiently.
• Work as a circulator or scrub nurse during procedures, supporting the surgeon and the rest of the team.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications as needed, and maintain strict sterile technique throughout cases.
• Accurately document surgical care and follow facility protocols and safety standards.
• Provide clear education to patients and families about pre- and post-operative care and expectations.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Perioperative/OR nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and clear communication.
• BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications are a plus.
