Locums Occupational Medicine Physician

A newly opened occupational medicine clinic in Iselin, NJ is seeking a Locums Occupational Medicine Physician for a 3-month assignment beginning June 15, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys providing workplace injury care, preventive medicine, and employee health services in a structured outpatient setting.

The position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no overtime, call, or holiday coverage requirements, making it ideal for providers seeking work-life balance.

 

Compensation: $150 Per Hour

 

Position Details

• Assignment Length: 3 Months
• Start Date: June 15, 2026
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No overtime required
• No holiday coverage required
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15–20 patients per day

 

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses
• Perform pre-employment, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty evaluations
• Conduct workplace injury assessments and follow-up care
• Perform and interpret EKGs and Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
• Provide minor procedures including suturing and wound care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow

 

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
• Comfortable performing minor procedures and occupational health evaluations
