Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 13-Week Contract in Stockton, CA

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team in Stockton, CA for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. You’ll work a consistent weekday schedule — Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM — helping patients regain independence and return to their daily routines.

Compensation:

• Travel rate: $2,195 per 35-hour week
• Local rate: $2,163 per 35-hour week

What you’ll need:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of California
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included)

What you’ll do:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive strengths and limitations, and evaluate how their environment affects function
• Collaborate with patients and the interdisciplinary care team to set meaningful, achievable goals
• Design individualized treatment plans and use a range of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and independence
• Recommend, fit, and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) to build practical skills
• Educate patients and family members on strategies to manage conditions and promote independence
• Monitor progress closely, document evaluations and interventions, and revise plans as needed
• Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered outcomes
• Support patients’ transitions back into their communities and workplaces
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
