Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — Elk Grove, CA (13-Week Contract)

Join a 13-week contract in Elk Grove, CA (start ASAP) as an Occupational Therapist. Full schedule: Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel rate $2,182/36 hrs; Local rate $2,149/36 hrs.

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included)

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and home/work environments to identify limitations and set measurable goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary team members
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, independence, and functional outcomes
• Recommend, fit, and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) to build patient competence and confidence
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to maximize independence
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing progress and outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations and progress notes
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support safe community and workplace reintegration
• Stay current with best practices and participate in professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
