Job Description
Join our team as a Locum Diagnostic Radiologist providing weekday outpatient coverage in Richmond, Indiana. This role is focused on image interpretation—no procedures, weekends, or call—with emphasis on plain films and CTs and timely STAT reads from the Emergency Department.
Schedule
- Monday 7:00 AM – Friday 4:00 PM
Key responsibilities
- Interpret plain radiographs and CT studies, prioritizing ED STAT reads
- Optionally interpret ultrasound or MRI based on comfort level
- Manage a daily volume of approximately 50–90 exams, depending on tempo
- Use GE PACS, PowerScribe dictation, and Epic EMR
- No fluoroscopy, mammography, or interventional procedures
Qualifications
- Active Indiana medical license required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (must obtain board certification within 5 years of residency)
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience preferred
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations required (medical or religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
