Job Description

Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist
-
Full-time employed position
-
Established cancer program within a regional referral center
-
Provide consultation, treatment planning, and ongoing radiation oncology care
-
Develop and oversee radiation therapy plans including external beam and stereotactic treatments
-
Monitor treatment response and manage side effects
-
Multidisciplinary collaboration with oncology, surgery, radiology, and pathology
-
Participate in tumor boards and case conferences
-
Work with radiation therapists, physicists, and dosimetrists
-
Involvement in program development and quality initiatives
-
Community outreach and patient education opportunities
-

MD or DO; completion of Radiation Oncology residency; Maine licensure eligible
