Join MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina, as a locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist covering general anesthesia cases. Coverage begins May 18, 2026 and is ongoing. We’re looking to fill four positions to backfill FTEs, with providers typically working either 5/8s or 4/10s and able to commit 3–4 weeks per month. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
What the role looks like
- Provide full-time anesthesia coverage for general cases, working independently as the sole CRNA.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to meet department needs and potentially cross-credential for other sites based on your skill set.
- Complete hospital orientation modules and Epic training (EMR: Epic) as part of onboarding.
Requirements
- Active South Carolina nursing license.
- Experience functioning as a sole CRNA.
- Willingness to work within a 60-mile radius.
- Credentialing timeline is approximately 90 days.
