• Training: Residency trained in EM, FM, or IM
• Experience: Proof of adequate emergency medicine experience within the past 2 years; case logs from past 12 months
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
• DEA: Active DEA with Texas address; authorized for Schedules II, IIN, III, IIIN, IV & V
• Certifications/Health: Current TB test; Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, seasonal flu, and COVID vaccination or facility-required exemptions; CME attestation

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in a free-standing emergency department
• Deliver clinical care consistent with granted privileges
• Maintain accurate patient records in Cerner EMR
• Coordinate diagnostics with imaging and laboratory services
