Locum tenens opportunity in DuBois, PA offering 24-hour in-house urology call coverage (start 7:00 a.m. daily). Assignment runs Jun 29, 2026 – Dec 28, 2026 (26 weeks) with specified coverage blocks: Jun 29–30; Jul 22–24; Sep 16–18; Nov 18–19; Dec 2–3. Agency covers travel, lodging, and malpractice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous in-house urology call with a 30-minute response expectation; callback rate $437.50/hour.
• Perform morning inpatient rounds and manage adult inpatient care.
• Evaluate and treat urologic emergencies (e.g., testicular torsion, significant hematuria).
• Perform procedures including cystoscopy, stent placement for hematuria, Foley catheter placement, stone extraction, and holmium laser lithotripsy.
• Consult with ED and other services; collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, and emergency teams.

Facility & systems:

• 280-bed hospital department.
• Inpatient EMR: Cerner; outpatient EMR: GE Centricity.
• On-site nursing, anesthesia, and ER support.

Credentials & requirements:

• Board certified urologist.
• Active PA medical license and DEA required.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Minimum 1 year post-training experience required (2 years preferred).
• Hospital privileges required; credentialing timeline approximately 1–2 weeks.
