Required credentials

• Valid, active Speech‑Language Pathologist state license.
• Bring state or federal photo ID to facility; must wear facility photo badge at all times.

Primary responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing (dysphagia).
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and swallowing function.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, home exercises, and safety related to communication and swallowing.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and progress notes.
• Communicate and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
