We’re seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist to provide solo night coverage at a 135-bed inpatient facility in Lewisburg, PA. This is a clinical-only role running Aug 3, 2026 through Nov 2, 2026 (13 weeks), with the potential to continue. The schedule is four 16-hour night shifts (Monday–Thursday) each week.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide solo nighttime anesthesia coverage for surgical and procedural areas.
• Deliver anesthesia across a wide surgical mix: Vascular, General, GI, Pediatrics, Plastics, Robotics, Urology, and more.
• Provide OB anesthesia and care for patients of all ages.
• Perform regional anesthesia and nerve blocks—this is high-volume orthopedic work.
• Use MAC, spinal, ultrasound-guided techniques as needed.
• Supervise CRNAs at a 1:3 ratio.
• Focus on patient-centered care throughout perioperative management.

Qualifications & logistics

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology (BC or BE).
• PA medical license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (Universal License/IMLC).
• ACLS and PALS required.
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Temporary privileges are available; expect a ~90-day credentialing timeline.
• EMR: Epic.
• Patient population: all ages.
• Service setting: inpatient.
