Shift: Days, 8 hours/day (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday (6:15 AM – 8:30 AM)
On-Call: None
Rate: $1,932 per 40 hours
Position Overview
Provide clinical counseling and care coordination for individuals with opioid use disorder. Conduct assessments, determine appropriate placement using ASI criteria, develop and implement treatment plans, coordinate services, and perform crisis intervention as needed.
Required Qualifications
- LCAS (Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist) required or in process of obtaining NC licensure as LCAS
- Experience working with an opiate-addicted population
- Skilled in clinical assessment, ASI-based placement, treatment planning, service coordination, and crisis intervention
- Knowledge of local drug trends; physiological and cognitive effects of commonly abused substances; signs/symptoms of narcotic overdose; psychosocial aspects of addiction; addiction process and treatment; and related social, legal, economic, medical, and HIV/health implications
Preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification

- Two supervisory reference forms
- Proof of LCAS or documentation of licensure process
Work Environment / Requirements
- Day shift schedule with every-other-Saturday coverage as noted
- No on-call responsibilities
Compensation and schedule are as listed; candidates must meet licensure and documentation requirements prior to start.
