Travel ER RN — Calais, ME | $2,182/36h | Day Shifts, Fast-Paced Emergency Care

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Registered Nurse to join an Emergency Department team in Calais, Maine. This is a contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP with day shifts—either 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.—and a rate of $2,182 for a 36-hour week.

What we’re hoping you bring

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• ER experience is preferred; acute care background also welcomed.
• Strong clinical skills, solid critical thinking, and clear communication.
• BLS is required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are a plus.

What you’ll do day-to-day

• Triage and quickly assess patients as they arrive.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions when needed.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly update physicians and team members on changes.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of care and patient records.
• Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Contribute to ER quality improvement and safety initiatives.
