Requirements:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Prior perioperative or surgical experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork.
- BLS certification preferred.
Core responsibilities:
- Set up operating rooms and prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor surgical equipment and verify proper functionality throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies; document counts and procedural details.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the surgical team to support safe, efficient patient care.
