Join our team in Bethel, AK as a hands-on nursing leader responsible for keeping a busy unit running smoothly and delivering compassionate, high-quality care. This contract/travel role starts ASAP, runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (days), and pays $3,078 per 36-hour week.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee daily operations of your assigned nursing unit and make sure patient care is safe and effective.
  • Manage staffing, schedules, and staff performance while supporting professional development and competencies.
  • Monitor patient flow, outcomes, and quality metrics and lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Work closely with physicians and hospital leadership to coordinate care and resolve operational challenges.
  • Handle budgetary and resource decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.

What we’re looking for

  • Active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN required; MSN preferred).
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred.
  • Several years of clinical nursing experience, with prior leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills—and a commitment to mentoring staff and improving patient care.
