Travel RN OB/Labor & Delivery (Fort Defiance, AZ)

We’re looking for an experienced OB/L&D RN to join a team in Fort Defiance, AZ on a travel/contract basis. This is a day-shift assignment starting ASAP, offering $2,941 for a 36-hour week.

What you’ll need

• Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
• At least 1 year of recent OB/L&D nursing experience preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS, NRP, and/or AWHONN certifications preferred (may be required by facility)

What you’ll be doing

• Continuously assess, monitor, and document maternal and fetal status through labor and delivery
• Provide skilled nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods
• Assist physicians and midwives with vaginal and cesarean births
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other ordered treatments safely and accurately
• Operate and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring systems
• Teach patients and families about labor progress, pain management options, and postpartum care
• Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies and complications
• Keep timely, accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, coordinated care
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
