Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Perioperative or operating room experience preferred
- BLS required; CNOR or other specialty certifications preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, instruments, and OR environment for surgery
- Serve as circulating nurse or scrub tech during procedures; assist the surgical team
- Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and maintain sterile technique
- Accurately document surgical care and follow facility protocols
- Provide patient and family education on pre- and post-operative care
