Travel Scrub Technologist (Surgical Tech) — Hilo, HI — Contract/Travel

Join a team in Hilo, HI as a contract Surgical Technologist supporting daytime cases. This is a 32-hour position (6:45 a.m. – 11:15 p.m. shift), available ASAP, offering $1,603 per 32-hour week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Set up the operating room and prepare surgical instruments and supplies for each case.
• Work alongside the surgeon by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and anticipating needs.
• Monitor surgical equipment to ensure everything is functioning correctly throughout procedures.
• Keep accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies, and help reconcile counts at the end of cases.
• Document procedural details and communicate clearly with the perioperative team.

Who we’re looking for:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Prior experience in perioperative or surgical settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational habits, and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
• BLS certification preferred.
