We’re seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide outpatient clinical care in Pinon, Arizona (Navajo County). This locum tenens opportunity offers a potential for a long-term contract and involves a standard weekday schedule—Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)—with no on-call responsibilities.
You’ll care for patients aged 5 and older across the full pediatric and adolescent spectrum, delivering 100% direct patient care. Telephonic consultations are part of the role, and telehealth may be authorized in emergent situations if you already have a secure phone and internet connection. Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges can be arranged. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
Key requirements:
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
- Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Current, unrestricted DEA registration (Schedules II–V)
- NPI number
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
- Minimum of 6 months recent psychiatry clinical experience
