Job Description

 Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.

UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join our experienced, collegial, and supportive team providing care in Henderson, TX (34 mi SE of Tyler, 136 mi SE of Dallas)

About the Position:

  • Faculty position with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler
  • 3 Days/Week 8 AM – 6 PM
  • Excellent physician schedule and quality of life
  • Coverage of the newborn nursery and basic pediatric admission to a small inpatient unit; occasionally attend deliveries with NICU close by in Tyler, TX and easily accessible for consults if needed.

About UT Tyler School of Medicine:

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas. 

The school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia.
