AP/CP Pathology Physician Opportunity in Somerset, PA

Key Highlights

  • UPMC–SOMERSET has a mix of surgical cases and non-gynecological cytopathology specimens.
  • Anatomic and clinical services are provided by a team of four pathologists covering AP/CP services at Somerset/Altoona/Bedford facilities.
  • There is close connection with the specialty services of the four academic core hospitals in Pittsburgh, providing expertise and consultation in all areas as necessary, as well as sophisticated services in immunohistochemistry, imaging and molecular anatomic pathology.
  • Night and weekend call are equally shared

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be AP/CP board certified or eligible
  • Fellowship training in cytopathology and/or surgical pathology with oncologic pathology background and prior pathology practice experience is desirable but not necessary.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
