We’re seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a busy acute care hospital in Cambridge, MN, on a locum tenens basis. This role is scheduled clinical coverage, starting ASAP for a 16-week assignment with potential extensions. You’ll typically work about two shifts per week (flexible scheduling preferred), Monday–Friday with shifts of 7:00 am–3:30 pm or 7:00 am–5:30 pm. The practice follows a supervised CRNA model with MD and CRNA backup onsite.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide anesthesia care across the lifespan—from neonates through geriatrics—in a variety of case types.
  • Administer and manage general anesthesia for orthopedics, ENT, GYN, general surgery, endoscopy, podiatry, urology, and ophthalmology.
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and document encounters in the Excillian EMR.
  • Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, fellow CRNAs, and perioperative teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
  • Complete a brief 4-hour non-billable orientation on site.

Schedule & logistics

  • Coverage: Monday–Friday; approximately 2 shifts per week
  • Shift options: 7:00 am–3:30 pm or 7:00 am–5:30 pm
  • Orientation: 4-hour non-billable
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice details: TBD
  • Local/drive-in providers preferred

Requirements & credentials

  • Active Minnesota CRNA license
  • NBCRNA board certification
  • DEA registration
  • ACLS and BLS required; PALS required; ATLS preferred
  • COVID vaccination not required per facility policy; flu vaccine TBD
