Locum NP/PA — Electrophysiology & Interventional Cardiology APP (Chambersburg, PA)

We’re seeking an experienced APP to join the Interventional Cardiology / Electrophysiology team at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA. This locum tenens role covers clinical care only, starting 9/1 and continuing on an ongoing basis. Your typical schedule will be Monday–Thursday, roughly 8:00 AM–6:00 PM (flexible), with no call required.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide APP coverage for electrophysiology and cardiology patients across hospital and clinic settings.
• Evaluate and manage adult patients (ages 18–100), roughly a caseload of about 18 patients per day.
• Manage pre- and post-procedure patient care (you will not independently perform procedures).
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Document thoroughly and promptly in Epic.

Clinical exposure and patient mix

• Primarily interventional cardiology and electrophysiology patients.
• Interventional cardiology procedures you’ll support include right and left heart catheterization, PCI, balloon angioplasty, and balloon pump cases.
• Electrophysiology exposure includes pacemaker and ICD implants (traditional and subcutaneous), loop recorder implant/explant, and ablations (AVN, SVT, atrial flutter).
• One assigned clinical support team will be available to assist.

Facility and logistics

• WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital — 270-bed facility with academic and clinic/practice components.
• EMR: Epic.
• Temporary hospital privileges are available (clean file required); full credentialing typically takes about 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in Pennsylvania and DEA required.
• NP or PA certification required.
• Current ACLS and BLS.
• Cardiology, interventional cardiology, or electrophysiology experience preferred.
