Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dedicated oncology team in Canton, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience working within a specialty care setting. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and clinical procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to facility policies.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Licensure

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Georgia.

Certifications

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required.
• Oncology or outpatient clinic experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced specialty clinic environment.
