Join a team in Skowhegan, ME as an Occupational Therapist starting July 1, 2026. This is a 14-week assignment with a full-week schedule (Sun–Sat). Compensation is $1,820 per week based on 35 hours (Local rate: $52/hour).

What we’re looking for

  • A valid, active Occupational Therapy state license.
  • Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).
  • Registry personnel must bring state or federal photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities and observe their environments to identify limitations and set meaningful goals.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and use a variety of therapeutic techniques to help patients improve daily living skills.
  • Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment and assistive devices to increase independence.
  • Teach patients and their families strategies to manage conditions and promote self-care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress regularly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
