Locum Tenens Inpatient Urologist (Call Coverage) — Worcester, MA (JulDec 2026)

We’re seeking a board-certified urologist to provide in-house locum tenens coverage at a Worcester, MA hospital from July 1 through December 31, 2026. This is call-only inpatient coverage (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.) to supplement the existing team. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered by the agency.

What you’ll do:

• Provide inpatient urology care and consultations, including admissions and daily rounding (average census of 2–3 patients).
• Respond to 0–1 phone consults per day and handle in-house call responsibilities as scheduled.
• Perform clinical assessments, manage patient care plans, and document thoroughly and promptly in Cerner.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff (RNs), one PA/NP, office staff, and three techs to ensure smooth patient care.

Requirements:

• Board certified in Urology.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Temporary privileges are available.

Facility and support:

• EMR: Cerner.
• Team support includes 3 RNs, 1 PA/NP, 3 techs, and office staff.
• Reason for coverage: supplemental.
