Join a 15-week contract/travel assignment in Albuquerque, NM as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Start ASAP. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $1,505/35-hours; Local: $1,484/35-hours.

Required:

• Current, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations by collecting medical history, assisting with assessments, and helping establish goals.
• Implement prescribed interventions, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and equipment to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Teach and progress home and clinic exercise programs; instruct patients and families on techniques to promote recovery and independent function.
• Accurately document treatments, patient response, and progress in medical records.
• Communicate and coordinate with the PT and interdisciplinary team regarding treatment plans and patient care.
• Maintain safety and infection-control standards in the therapy environment.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout rehabilitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
