Join a team in Albuquerque, NM as a contract/travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. This role follows a consistent daily schedule (Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and offers competitive pay: Travel rate $1,505/35 hours; Local rate $1,484/35 hours.

What you’ll need:

• Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

What you’ll do:

• Support the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations by collecting medical history and helping assess treatment goals.
• Deliver prescribed interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Apply modalities and operate therapeutic equipment as part of rehabilitation plans.
• Teach patients proper exercise techniques and guide them through individualized programs.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise plans to support recovery.
• Keep clear, accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Work collaboratively with the PT and broader healthcare team to coordinate care and refine treatment plans.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures to maintain a safe therapy environment.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support as patients work toward their goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
