Rate: Travel: $1,505/35-hrs; Local: $1,484/35-hrs

Required credential:

• Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, including obtaining medical history and assessing functional goals.
• Implement prescribed interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment safely and effectively.
• Instruct patients (and caregivers as needed) in exercise programs, proper techniques, and home programs for recovery and fall prevention.
• Monitor, document, and report patient responses and progress; maintain accurate treatment records.
• Collaborate with the PT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and update treatment plans.
• Follow safety, infection control, and facility protocols to maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Provide patient encouragement and support to promote adherence and positive outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
