Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — 13-Week Contract in Silver City, NM (Start Jun 12, 2026)

We’re looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join a team in Silver City, NM for a 13-week assignment starting June 12, 2026. This role works a weekend-focused schedule (Sun, Fri, Sat) for 36 hours per week.

Pay:

• Local PPW: $1,152 (36 hours) — $32/hour
• Travel PPW: $1,188 (36 hours) — $33/hour

What you’ll need:

• Active, valid LPN license for the state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Registry personnel must bring a state- or federal-issued ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times.
• Agency staff must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine, or provide a documented medical or religious exemption from their employer. Additional doses must be obtained where required by law.

What you’ll do:

• Provide direct nursing care under the direction of RNs or physicians.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Evaluate and manage wounds, including cleaning and dressing, while watching for signs of infection or complications.
• Monitor and document vital signs regularly.
• Keep accurate patient records and educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Respond quickly in medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety protocols.
