Looking for a steady short-term opportunity in Tuscumbia, AL? Join a 12-week contract (travel) assignment starting June 1, 2026, working the night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. This role pays $900 per 36-hour period (Local and Travel), which equates to $25/hour.
What you’ll bring:
- An active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
- Current BLS certification.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing direct nursing care under the supervision of RNs or physicians.
- Conducting patient assessments and administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Caring for wounds — cleaning, dressing, monitoring for infection or complications.
- Continuously monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient status.
- Keeping clear, accurate patient records and teaching patients and families about conditions and self-care.
- Responding quickly in medical emergencies and following infection control protocols.
