Job Description

 

UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a BE/BC Urologist to join its practice at UT Health Quitman and UT Health Pittsburg.

 

Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.

 

About Your Work:

  • Supporting two rural Critical Access hospitals – 25 beds each
  • Rotating schedule: Three days per week at one location and two days at the other, with the schedule rotating regularly.
  • Full-time employed position
  • Both inpatient and outpatient services
  • M-F 8am-5pm 
  • Expected patient load: 20-25/day
  • 2 OR Days/Week
  • Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding—leading to better work-life balance and revenue.

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System.
