- Trauma level III
- EMR: Epic
- Current orthopedic physicians: 4
- Support: 7 APPs plus nursing and office staff (supervision of APPs required)
- On-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy
Clinical responsibilities
- Post-op rounding and inpatient/ED consults
- Operative coverage in the OR
- Total hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasty
- Hand, wrist, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, and foot procedures
- Trauma and fracture care
- Sports medicine and general orthopedic disorders
Requirements
- Active Iowa medical license
- Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Clean background check and NPDB report
- Must be available for both specified date blocks
