This position will collaborate with the Medical Director, Program Director and the entire clinical team to provide medical direction in conformance with the facility's policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission.

The Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg provides specialized, patient-centered care designed to help individuals recover and regain independence following illness, injury, or surgery. This inpatient program focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, delivered by an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. About Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg
STRHS - Lawrenceburg is a 99-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The hospital has served Lawrence County and the surrounding counties since 1974. STRHS - Lawrenceburg expanded its facility and services in 1991 with the addition of an Outpatient Surgery Unit, a state-of-the-art 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department and an Intensive Care Unit. The hospital opened a Physical Rehabilitation Unit in 1997 and a Women’s Health Center in 1999. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, Nuclear Medicine, 64-slice CT Scanner, Radiography, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. Additionally, a 10- bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. In 2009, a $5.6 million expansion and renovation of the Emergency and Outpatient Departments was completed. This expansion doubled the size of our Emergency Department, separated our Emergency and Outpatient Waiting Areas as well as added two more rooms to our Outpatient Department.
