Join a hospital team in Lufkin, TX to provide locum tenens anesthesia coverage from July 31, 2026 through October 30, 2026. You’ll work day shifts (8-hour) with beeper call from home as available, providing both clinical care and call coverage to support the facility’s needs.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver anesthesia care across a broad surgical mix under medical direction, including general and regional techniques.
- Manage labor epidurals and perform spinal anesthesia for C-sections.
- Cover cases spanning pediatrics, neuro, orthopedics, cardiovascular, vascular, neurospine, ENT, urology, adult general, GYN, GI, plastics, podiatry, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology.
- Participate in home-based beeper call and be prepared to cover multiple nearby facilities within a roughly 30-minute radius.
- Collaborate closely with the anesthesia care team to ensure safe, efficient perioperative management.
