Regional Medical Director — NYC Treatment Centers (Family/Internal Medicine)

We’re looking for an experienced, licensed physician to join our team as a hands-on leader who balances clinical work with team development. You’ll spend part of your time providing patient care and most of your time mentoring clinicians, overseeing medical operations, and helping grow and integrate primary care and clinical programs across our NYC treatment centers.

Compensation: $275,000–$315,000 plus bonuses and a full benefits package.

What you’ll do

• Provide high-quality patient care as needed to support clinical operations.
• Visit sites 3–4 days a week to mentor, coach, and develop clinical staff.
• Oversee medical operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinical standards.
• Collaborate with administrative and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care and clinic workflows.
• Design and implement training programs to strengthen clinical skills and elevate patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical practices through quality assurance activities.
• Lead utilization management and value-based care initiatives to optimize care delivery.
• Support strategic growth by partnering with leadership on provider recruitment, onboarding, practice development, and clinical expansion.

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
• Active New York medical license and DEA registration; Medicare and Medicaid provider IDs required.
• Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably overseeing multiple providers, sites, or interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine commitment to mentoring and staff development.
