Job Description
We’re looking for a Telehealth Cognitive Care Neurologist to join our team in Dallas, Texas and provide virtual specialty care to patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders across the country. You’ll deliver high-quality, compassionate care through a fully virtual model, helping expand access to cognitive neurology services nationwide.
What you’ll do
- Perform comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations and virtual cognitive assessments.
- Manage complex neurodegenerative conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team—APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Provide clinical leadership by supervising APPs across multiple states and maintaining clinical and telehealth quality and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families in a virtual setting, promoting empathetic, evidence-based care and ongoing education.
Compensation & benefits
- Target pay: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.
Minimum qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
- Board Certification in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive evaluation and dementia management.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual patient, family, and team interactions.
- Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and continuous professional growth.
Preferred qualifications
- Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or similar.
- Prior experience supervising APPs in a telehealth or multi-state practice.
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models.
