Job Description
Join a fully virtual team delivering specialized care to patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders nationwide. You will perform comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage complex neurodegenerative conditions, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team—including APPs, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators—to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. As a clinical leader, you will supervise APPs across multiple states and uphold clinical and telehealth standards.
Compensation & benefits: $260,000–$276,000 plus full benefits.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive virtual cognitive and neurological assessments.
- Diagnose and manage Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other cognitive disorders.
- Coordinate care with APPs, behavioral health clinicians, care coordinators, and other team members.
- Provide clinical supervision to APPs across multiple states and ensure adherence to telehealth protocols and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement, education, and development initiatives.
Minimum qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency.
- Board certification in Neurology.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments.
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual interactions with patients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to empathetic, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience supervising APPs in telehealth or multi-state practice models.
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments.
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care settings.
