Job Description
A healthcare organization in Martinsburg seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an outpatient pediatric team.
Schedule and Setting
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Outpatient only
- EMR: Epic
- Average volume: 16–18 patients/day
Call
- After-hours phone call only; no in-person call
- 1–2 weekdays/month
- ~3 weekends/year
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care (newborn through provider’s preferred age range)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Perform wellness visits, preventive care, and immunizations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- Board certified NP or PA
- Active West Virginia license or ability to obtain one
- DEA registration required by start date
- Pediatric experience preferred
