Outpatient Pediatrician — Academic Faculty Role (Martinsburg, WV)

A well-regarded healthcare organization in Martinsburg is looking for a friendly, committed pediatrician to join their outpatient team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys full-scope outpatient pediatrics—from newborns through young adults—and who also wants to be involved in teaching and mentoring in an academic setting.

What to expect

• Monday–Friday schedule, 40-hour work week, outpatient clinic setting.

• Faculty role with responsibilities for clinical teaching and mentorship.

Clinical duties

• Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients from birth up to 24 years old.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, conduct well-child visits, preventive care, and immunizations.
• Maintain timely, accurate medical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Typical patient load is about 16–18 patients per day.

Teaching and academic involvement

• Actively participate in training and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Support and contribute to clinical teaching initiatives and help foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) with completion of an accredited pediatric residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Eligible for or holding a West Virginia medical license and able to obtain DEA registration by start date.
