Locum Tenens Urology Physician — Inpatient 24Hour Shifts (Manahawkin/Stafford Township, NJ)

Location: Manahawkin (Stafford Township), NJ

Compensation: $380 per hour

Schedule and Coverage

• 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekday and weekend coverage required
• Minimum commitment: five consecutive shifts per month
• In-house coverage: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Remote call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (primarily phone consults; must be able to return onsite for emergencies)
• One urologist scheduled per shift
• Average consult volume: 8–10 per day

Clinical Duties

• Provide inpatient urology consultations and treatment
• Perform emergent and urgent urologic procedures as clinically necessary
• Manage daytime in-house patient care
• Provide overnight remote call coverage with emergency callback availability
• Collaborate with hospital staff and advanced practice providers to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Support

• Mid-level providers available to assist in the OR

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Current and active CDS and DEA
• Ability to independently manage inpatient urologic cases and emergencies
• Must commit to at least five consecutive shifts per month
