Job Description
Join a high-performing orthopedic trauma team at a busy Level II Trauma Center in Texas. This role is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner seeking to work alongside orthopedic trauma surgeons in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting managing a wide range of injuries.

- Manage complex cases including pelvic and acetabular fractures, general orthopedic trauma, hand injuries, and routine pediatric fractures

Schedule and practice structure
- On-site APP coverage daily, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 10-hour shifts; full-time = 175 shifts annually
- No after-hours call responsibilities
- Shared surgical and inpatient care responsibilities in a multidisciplinary environment
Key responsibilities
- Round with the on-call orthopedic trauma surgeon and participate in clinical decision-making
- Evaluate and manage new consults and follow inpatient trauma patients
- Assist in the operating room and support perioperative care
- Coordinate care with nursing, therapy, and other specialties to ensure seamless patient management
Compensation and benefits
- Base annual pay: $140,000
- Additional shifts: $800 per shift
- Comprehensive benefits package: health insurance, 401(k), annual CME stipend

- Reasonable travel expenses to Beaumont covered; lodging provided
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in Texas
- Orthopedic, surgical, or trauma experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable assisting in the OR and managing inpatient orthopedic patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
