Locums Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician — Overnight Inpatient Coverage, Boston (Per Diem)

This flexible locum role is ideal for a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician who is comfortable managing the full spectrum of adult inpatient care overnight.

Compensation

• $190 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Admit and manage patients from the Emergency Department and direct admits from outside facilities or clinics
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult inpatients with acute and chronic medical conditions
• Provide overnight coverage for medical floors; respond promptly to pages and urgent patient-care issues
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with nursing staff, consultants, and ancillary departments
• Complete accurate, timely documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Active DEA license
